Months ago we were notified that we had been nominated for SRG (Spencer Radio Group) People's Choice Awards. This is a multiple of retail and service businesses that become nominated by someone and people vote on.
I was honored that someone even thought of nominating us. Honestly, I was humbled by it. All the other florists that were nominated are friends, colleagues, people I attend classes with and share ideas with. I respect every florist that was on that list. I knew, that due to our size and location, that this was a long shot.
Until now. We received word that we won. Not only won...but won gold! What in the world just happened?! It still seems unreal.
Also found out today that who nominated us is a very special customer. She probably doesn't even realize how much her action means to us. Especially this year.
Thank you to everyone of you who voted. Thank you to everyone who has given us an encouraging word. Thanks to YOU for believing in us. Again, we are truly humbled!
