I'm not sure if this is the third or fourth year that Kid's Korner and Heart 'n Home have partnered up for this fundraiser. But each year this event has been wonderfully supported and it allows the community daycare to have a little extra wiggle room to purchase some fun items that might not be in their budget.
Kids Korner is a non-profit child care center that serves the families of Laurens and surrounding communities. The center is licensed by the Iowa Department of Human Services and provides quality child care services for infants, toddlers, and preschool children, as well as after-school care for siblings, in a safe and developmentally appropriate environment.
The fundraiser is selling Evergreens (wreaths, swags, spruce tops, etc). You make the check out to Kid's Korner (not Heart 'n Home - but you can drop off your check & order form and we will make sure they get it).
Deadline to submit your order and payment is Monday, October 19th. You can select on the PDF (order form) whether you want to pick it up at Heart 'n Home or if you wish for it to be delivered to you (please make sure you put down the address you want it delivered to).
We moved up delivery a little bit this year. It will be delivered to you (or you can pick it up at Heart 'n Home) starting Monday, November 16th. This is a week before Thanksgiving. We are hoping this will give you a little time to get things up while the weather is good - plus if you are leaving town for Thanksgiving it gives all the people helping out time to deliver.
Please consider purchasing. A lot of non-profits have been directly affected by this year. Wouldn't it be great to give the kids a big surprise!
